Cyriaque Villemaux

Cyriaque Villemaux (1988 in Offenburg) studied contemporary dance at the Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse de Paris. In 2012, he graduated from p.a.r.t.s in Brussels. His collaborations FR/EN and G#$*&!/Disagreement/How to dance things with doing were part of events such as the Festival d'Automne de Paris (2012) and Tanz im August (2012). Cyriaque Villemaux has been performing for Noé Soulier (Little perceptions) as well as for Xavier Le Roy (Rétrospective) at the Centre Pompidou. In 2013 he collaborated with Julie Kowalczyk on the drawing project Carte, a children's book at the Musée de la Danse, CCN de Rennes. An older version of this CV was mentioning his interest regarding translation. This interest found a way to be actualized at the occasion of the book release "Rétrospective par Xavier Le Roy" for which Cyriaque Villemaux translated to French the interviews between Xavier Le Roy and Bojana Cvejic (2013). Cyriaque Villemaux is currently fellow at the Akademie Schloss Solitude where he works on the Paris' fin de siècle.
